Robert Taylor, facilitator
British journalist Robert Taylor is facilitating three round table discussions during Congress, starting with Tuesday afternoon’s discussion on “Meeting the challenges of offshoring”.

Robert Taylor is now an adviser to the European Trade Union Confederation and was employment editor of the Financial Times from 1993 to 2001 and labour editor of the Observer from 1976 to 1988. He has written for a wide range of magazines and journals on labour issues and is the author of seven books.

More recently he was at the London School of Economics and Political Science researching on the future of trade union project. He is now preparing a book on the future of labour in the globalising economy.
