Company Councils
Giant multinational companies (MNCs) are dominant in national and international production. They must be contained by international trade union cooperation, as well as legislation, conventions and other international instruments.

Thirty years ago, the IMF launched its first World Company Councils as a medium for bringing together unions organising workers in MNC parents and subsidiaries. Today, company councils hold meetings for many transnational corporations, as needs arise.
